For me, the real shift began when I watched someone I love spend their entire life working hard, saving for retirement, only to run out of time before they could enjoy any of it.

It was a painful reminder of how fragile life really is, and how quickly the years can disappear.

At the same time, I was working for a Russian oligarch… building someone else’s empire instead of securing my own. Day after day, I was contributing to someone else’s wealth while having no plan to build my own future.

It forced me to confront how easily life can pass you by when you’re pouring all your energy into everyone but yourself.

That moment created a shift inside me. I didn’t want to stare down the barrel of 50 years of a 9–5 before I was “allowed” to experience freedom.

I wanted security for my family while we were young enough to enjoy it.

Property investment became the path that made sense.

Why Property Investment Made Sense

Property wasn’t the easiest option. But it was the one that gave me autonomy over my future. It gave me a way to create stability for my family and to build something that wasn’t dependent on someone else’s decisions.

What property really gave me was control.

Control over our time.
Control over our security.
Control over the life we wanted to build.

My Property Journey

My property journey wasn’t glamorous. It was hard. I was on the tools most days, making plenty of mistakes, learning through every wrong turn and every win.

Renovating homes became my full-time job, and I did it while juggling two young kids. It was messy, exhausting, and nothing about it was instant.

But over time, it gave me something I never had before: freedom.

Freedom to travel.
Freedom to choose how I spent my days.
Freedom to have precious time with my family while we were still young enough to enjoy it.
